Pravin Singh is a highly experienced risk and credit professional with approximately 20 years of distinguished service across the mortgage, financial services, and credit risk management sectors. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated an exceptional ability to balance strategic oversight with practical, hands-on expertise, making him a trusted leader in regulated financial environments.

In his current role as Head of Risk & Quality at Guide Financial Services, Pravin is responsible for establishing and strengthening the organisation's compliance frameworks, risk management infrastructure, and quality assurance processes. He plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the business operates within regulatory parameters whilst maintaining the highest standards of service delivery and operational excellence. His proactive approach to risk management ensures that potential challenges are identified early and addressed effectively, protecting both the organisation and its customers.

What distinguishes Pravin is his unique combination of strategic risk leadership and frontline operational experience. Having worked directly as a Mortgage Adviser, he possesses invaluable commercial and customer insights that inform his risk decisions. This dual perspective enables him to understand the practical implications of risk policies on both business performance and customer outcomes, ensuring that frameworks are not only robust but also commercially viable and customer-focused.

Prior to his current role, Pravin spent over a decade in credit management, progressing from Credit Manager to Unit Head, where he successfully managed large and complex credit portfolios, including specialised areas such as NRI (Non-Resident Indian) lending. This experience required deep expertise in cross-border regulations, cultural nuances, and international financial frameworks, whilst building a reputation for sound judgement and effective risk stewardship in support of business growth.

Pravin’s strong professional foundation is supported by a solid academic background. He holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Mumbai and an MSc in Finance from the University of Surrey, equipping him with robust analytical, quantitative, and financial expertise that underpins his risk leadership approach.
